Nova Scotia Invasive Species Council’s Dog-Strangling Vine Weed Pull

The Nova Scotia Invasive Species Council is hosting a Dog-Strangling Vine Weed Pull and invites you to join them to help stop the spread of this highly invasive plant. Dog-Strangling Vine is an invasive plant that reduces biodiversity and threatens the endangered Monarch Butterfly!

What to bring:

  • Water
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
  • Gloves
  • Trowel

*We will have a limited number of gloves and trowels available, but please bring your own if you have them
*Snacks and lunch will be provided
